Any interested in playing DayZ on one of our coop nights? Could be fun!
May I suggest Friday, August 17?

I might be interested in this also Summer job and early mornings have kept me from joining the coops, but I might try to participate in this coop. On fridays I'm most likely to be available!

I'm up for that

Let's do this! But we are going to start from different locations on the map and it will take eternity for us to meet somewhere (even if we don't get lost because we don't have maps)?

I'm terribly sorry, still can't join tonight. But we definitely should set up a meeting point, where we should get (or atleast near it) before we start off as a group! An I mean getting there before the coop night!

Bubba we don't have a game tonight!
Misha, I don't think we have a solution for that, but we can hope to start close by to each other or at least for the journey to the rendezvous point to be interesting. If lots of players will join, pairs and thirds of players will probably find each other easily, given the probability increase of starting close by.

I agree, we should set a meeting place where we can move to until Friday so when we start, we start together.

Where will this meeting point be?

I suggest the first one who actually play before Friday find a good place and updates is all.

Let's see:
-we cannot meet inside cities and vilages because zombies so it has to be somewhere outside, near some natural landmark. -maybe somewhere closer to the southern shore where spawn points are and in the middle of the map horizontally.

Umm..... I have a map on me. Hopefully I don't get mugged by bandits before I regroup to you. I'm at half health though because I showed my friend DayZ and he was playing it but got mug by bandit so I took over the comp to deal with them.
Whenever I meet my friends, we meet at a lighthouse.

Maybe this will help us get on a server?

thats a useful server finding tool. For meeting spots, I'm thinking the easiest spot would be somewhere around the shoreline or near it.
I'm suggesting either Cap Goliva (for South people), Krutoy Cap for people in the South East, and around Blunt Rocks for the people in the North East. Just played some DayZ today... GOOD NEWS EVERYONE I'm parked at Krutoy Cap and I picked myself up a PBX motorboat with half gas left so I can all give you a lift if you're at the shore. I'm by the Krutoy Cap lighthouse. I'm thinking I can pick some of you guys up and we can take a stop at Skalisty Island to find another boat or hopefully a helicopter there. We can stop by at Otmel Island too, but I can probably do a quick gather up first before we try anything else. DayZ Commander is also very useful to update to latest up to date DayZ client and finding which server we're at. |
