It was rather cool to storm the beach with the boats. Maybe just add permanent boats there? Also don't forget to tweak the AI on spare drive.

Re: Outlawz7's missions workshop - Outlawz7 - 02-16-2015

AI is (and was before, forgot  Tongue ) tweaked.

co@12_otl7_old_town_buddy.desert_e.pbo updated on the server, fixed enemy reinforcement.

Re: Outlawz7's missions workshop - McGregor - 03-06-2015

Just out of curiosity. I don't know if this is even possible but can the fail state be changed to the main rotor instead of the tail rotor in LZ under fire? I was still flying and had the chopper under control when the rotor got hit. Given the many flat fields a skid landing could have happened. Same thing at the airport. Admittedly there was a 99.9% chance of getting shot down or crash in the process but it's still possible. I've done it numerous times, mostly in a littlebird though. I would rather go out in a blaze of glory than having it end mid flight. Just a thought  :Smile

Re: Outlawz7's missions workshop - Variable - 03-06-2015

If that's impossible to achieve I'd suggest to remove this particular fail trigger altogether. The players can end the mission themselves or fight to the last bullet if all hope is lost.

Knowing there's a point where the mission cannot be completed and not accounting for it just seems like sloppy mission design to me.

I'll look into a better failure condition.

20 ACR missions uploaded to the server.

Paratnk - Friendly reinforcements never arrived. I want a board of inquiry and the responsible General to take responsibility for the loss of our brave warriors that fought like lions.

Re: Outlawz7's missions workshop - Outlawz7 - 03-24-2015

Did the reinforcement task tick?

I do think it did. IIRC; the only open objective was "Defeat the counterattack"

Re: Outlawz7's missions workshop - Outlawz7 - 03-24-2015

I checked, reinforcements were set to Stealth and Never Fire on their first waypoint, and never set to anything else. So they probably took their time to arrive and wouldn't fire a shot either way.  Tongue

I'll fix once ArmA stops crashing on me

Re: Outlawz7's missions workshop - Variable - 03-24-2015

I think Alwarren checked and said they never moved.

Re: Outlawz7's missions workshop - Varanon - 03-26-2015

Clean Sweap INDFOR does not load, some message about a BWA3 glasses...

Re: Outlawz7's missions workshop - Outlawz7 - 03-28-2015

The hell are BWA3 glasses? These are all the addons the mission uses

addOns[]=
{
"a3_map_altis",
"A3_Characters_F_BLUFOR",
"a3_characters_f",
"A3_Characters_F_OPFOR",
"A3_Characters_F_INDEP",
"A3_Characters_F_Civil"
};
addOnsAuto[]=

};

Re: Outlawz7's missions workshop - Variable - 03-28-2015

Haven't we found out that unnamed had BW glasses selected for his profile and that was the reason we had that problem?
