I don't know if this is even possible but can the fail state be changed to the main rotor instead of the tail rotor in LZ under fire? I was still flying and had the chopper under control when the rotor got hit. Given the many flat fields a skid landing could have happened. Same thing at the airport. Admittedly there was a 99.9% chance of getting shot down or crash in the process but it's still possible. I've done it numerous times, mostly in a littlebird though. I would rather go out in a blaze of glory than having it end mid flight. The players can end the mission themselves or fight to the last bullet if all hope is lost.
