It's probably not your mic, it's more likely to be your audio settings. And THAT I can write a book on. First thing I would do was to check if mic is enabled/ not muted in windows audio control panel and/or in your sound card control panel. And the I would check if it works in other programs (e.g. windows recorder or other recording software). If all above is ok/correct and you can use your mic in other programs it's probably something wrong with your TS settings. If all above is ok/correct and you can NOT use your mic it's probably something wrong with your mic.

But if it's true as stated in specs for your headset (only 1 jack?) you will need a special plug (adapter) to be able to use mic. Depending on your computer I guess u have 1 sound output and 1 mic input? As your headset only has 1 plug? (as stated in spec) you'll need a adapter to 2 plugs (1 for sound out and 1 for mic).

A head set with only one jack, thats really weird ???

How many connectors does that jack have?

Re: Microphone not working - Make - 03-30-2009

I have 2 jacks, red one and green one. (red for mic and green for audio) I cant hear my voice if i wont yell.Settings arent on low, i use motherboard's own sound card.

Is there any kind of power switch on that mic? Like when you pull it out?

Any progress with that one? Or do you have (borrow from a friend) another mic just to check?

Yes there is, high and low. I cant see difference. I have my old one, broken one. I can hear my voice better on that one, mic is like a cat without strenght
