Here's an idea for a mission, although it can be like a new game mode.
It's partially inspired by the board game Resistance.Â
Let's say you as FiA, or whatever resistance fraction there is. In your team you have one or more traitors (double agents/sleepers/undercover government collaborators) whose task is to sabotage the mission and make it fail. They can do it either by failing at tasks given by the team leader or by proactively working towards the failure, like killing other team members when there are no witnesses, for example.
Sleepers win if mission fails, and FiA wins if it completes mission objectives.
I think this would bring another dimension to the gameplay. Decisions would have to be made not only from a military perspective, but also from the psychological perspective of trust. Players would watch each other's move with suspicion and team leader would have to think carefully to whom he would entrust some tasks or weapons.
