I went to the local store today and let them setup some rigs without much preconditions, this is what they came up with:
Power supply: 650W Corsair CMPSU-650TXEU
Mainboard: Asus P6T Deluxe V2
Processor: Intel Core i7 920
CPU cooling: Noctua U12P Cooler SE1366
RAM: 3x2GB DDR3 1600Mhz OCZ Obsidian CL9
Graphics card: MSI GeForce GTX295 1792MG 2xDVI
or
Power supply: 750W Corsiar CMPSU-750TXEU
Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UDP5 AM3
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965BE
CPU cooling: Zalman CNPS-9500 AM2 green light
RAM: 2x2GB OCZ Obsidian DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 CL9
Graphics card: 2x XFX Radeon HD4890 1GB XXX
or
Power supply: 650W Corsair CMPSU-650TXEU
Mainboard: ASUS M3N-HT DELUXE
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955
CPU cooling: Xilence Icebreaker 64Pro AM2
RAM: 2x2 GB OCZ DDR2-800 CL5 Heatspreader
Graphics card: XFX Radeon HD4890 1GB XXX
I haven't been following the hardware developments for years and have no clue of all this technobabble, so what do you think? There could be more RAM on either of the options but as far as I can tell this woul easily be possible with all the Mainboards.
I'm going to cross-check the components with the ArmaII Mark thread in the BI forum and want to order a system next week...
