A different mission idea. Thoughts? - Dalken - 05-15-2020

I have been working on Chernarus 2020 Ravage for a few weeks now. It has given me an idea to put a twist on the heli crash survivor scenario. The objective would be something simple like all players making it to an emergency rally point. I want to make a crash survival scenario with an emphasis on looting, evading, and atmosphere. Finding a map/gps will allow you to see where the objective is, and you can relay that information to other survivors. Finding a radio will let you talk on comms with other people who have found radios. It wouldn't be a long drawn out, hour long mission of looting. I'm more thinking of around 30 minutes. If you run into contact and aren't very well armed, or not armed at all, you may have to find a way to escape rather than fight your way out. If you come across a small patrol and you have a weapon, you can eliminate that patrol and take their equipment. Crash sites should always spawn with a town nearby and visible for looting so that it doesn't end up being a thing of travelling 500m to find a town to gear up.

I think this kind of gameplay could create some unique situations that don't happen in other missions, however its a very different style to traditional arma missions so I figured I would create a post and gather some people's thoughts before I make it.

Sounds good to me and I don't see why should you limit yourself to about a 30 minutes scenario and under half a klick initial movement. It seems to me that this kind of scenario would benefit if the time and ranges are longer!
