Steel Rain - Mjolnir - 11-29-2016
A bit more of an unconventional one here, or more accurately, a more conventional one. This mission is all about showing a reasonable approximation of a Fire Support Team in the field. For simplicities sake, some of the steps have been taken out, and the enemy isn't particularly realistic, plus ideally I'd have not had the supporting roles, but the AI is the AI and sometimes they need a little help. So I present to you, CO@15 Steel Rain:
Features:
Realistic method of artillery support (FSO->FDC->Guns, no map click for the guy on the ground)
Overwhelming enemy, overwhelming fire support.
Semi-realistic map marking and brief (though there is some Arma-isation involved.)
Flying! Explosions! Gunfire! Realism!
Note: I suggest that maybe I am present for this one, taking the role of the FDC. I may also have to add a UAV at some point too. This is very much a work in progress.
