TransferWise - Cheap way to send money abroad - doveman - 07-20-2016
I just bought something from a guy in Poland and rather than use PayPal and put up with their dodgy exchange rates and fees I used TransferWise. I entered how much I wanted to send in PLN and it showed me how much it would cost in GBP, which was £34 instead of about £40 with PayPal. Admittedly I didn't have to pay the transaction fee of £2 as it was my first transaction but even with the fee if you're sending larger amounts it will probably work out cheaper than most other options.
