Low FPS with Tanoa - doveman - 06-15-2016

I made some videos to show the difference I see between an empty Stratis and an empty Tanoa on my 2GB 6950. I note that Tanoa uses about 600MB more and comes close to filling all 2048MB but as it doesn't quite get that high I don't think the low FPS is due to exceeding available VRAM. No mods loaded, just using "-world=empty -name=doveman -nosplash -nofilepatching -nologs"

Due to the load from recording with MSI Afterburner, the FPS whilst recording is probably about 10FPS less than normaly but I need to check that, as when I ran the Apex Preview build the other day without recording I was still seeing only 17-25FPS on Tanoa.

Sorry about the quality, it seems Youtube reduces the resolution from the recorded 960x600 to 480p. A guide to what each of the OSD readings are is given in each video's description.

The first video shows my settings (excuse me faffing about with the brightness, that wasn't working for me with the Apex Preview build and I just wanted to check that it's OK now):

The second shows Stratis:

and the third Tanoa:
