CO@14 The Akala Situation - Etzu - 01-22-2016 Summary: The Takistani Army has restricted access to the southern regions of Afghan by funneling all traffic through the Akala Bridge. United Nations can no longer provide humanitarian efforts and have asked for international assistance. We're a convoy of heavy armor and two fireteams; all we need to do is get our convoy over the Akala Bridge. Terrain: Afghan Village Mods: CUP Terrain, Afghan Village, CUP Units, CUP Weapons Filename: co@14_the_akala_situation.praa_av.pbo Re: CO@14 The Akala Situation - Variable - 01-23-2016 Yay! An Afghan village mission! Re: CO@14 The Akala Situation - Variable - 01-29-2016 Cool mission Etzu! However, since the enemy has ATGM teams, I think repair specialists are a must. Maybe even one for each vehicle team. I'd also note or hint about the possibility of the enemy using ATGM in the briefing to set the expectation straight. I suppose there are AA teams as well, so that goes for them too. Re: CO@14 The Akala Situation - Watchmen - 01-29-2016 Considering the enemy numbers and forces the player forces feel quite outmatched especially since we were stomped a long way from the bridge. My suggestion is to add the revive script and combine the 8 infantry into a single team with a medic? The division into fireteams employed by most modern armies is there for a reason. Re: CO@14 The Akala Situation - McGregor - 01-29-2016 (01-29-2016, 01:44 PM)Alwarren link Wrote:Argh no! Bigger teams only equals more headache for team lead Re: CO@14 The Akala Situation - Stagwine - 01-29-2016 I too liked the setup and mission as it is. I wouldn't make any radical changes either, mentioned repair spec/engineer will go a long way. As this requires lot of long distance customer service, adding one marksmen to one infantry team might be ok. Nothing too op, just, say M14 and basic Leupold. No thermal. Or add rifle and 2 mags to HMV cargo. Not more. This isn't sniper fest but that would add bit more LR punch to infantry. Those are nitpicking though. We have 2 .50 cals, Abrams, Bradley. That is a lot of firepower as it is. Re: CO@14 The Akala Situation - Etzu - 01-30-2016 Thanks for the feedback everyone, updated with the following:
Re: CO@14 The Akala Situation - Watchmen - 01-30-2016 I forgot to add so,i don't seem ungrateful. Thanks for the mission. Since you added the repair specialists, maybe reducing ATGMs isn't that important. Reducing ATGM's doesn't have to mean I reduced enemy AT Re: CO@14 The Akala Situation - Etzu - 02-10-2016 Fixed as recent CUP Unit updated caused issues with Takistani MGs. |
