Quality of Video Editing, Live Movie Maker to Sony Vegas - Phantom - 08-15-2012

Just curious about how better my quality would be once I get a chance to switch from Live moviemakers to Sony Vegas Pro. I don't got Sony Vegas Pro yet but I'm planning to get it when I can and I'm wondering how much better my video qualities will be. For now, I'm using Live Movie Maker to edit videos and its pretty simplistic and a lot of people say it sucks. Well, I guess putting together a video without adding any interesting effects it can get the job done but I guess for montages or bigger projects, it wouldn't get the job done. I also hear people got better quality with Sony Vegas so I'm wondering about that.

Haven't used live movie maker but I can tell you that my video quality went up significantly when I switched AVS for Sony Vegas.

I see. Yeah, I've watched other videos and their quality looks better than mine even though their video cards and CPU aren't as up to date with mine but I guess they got better editing tools.
