Thanx for the white theme, I like it. Does go well with the dark backround too. But don't change the main site to white, it's the dark stuff that makes it look good Wink

@Grip and Var,  The header is also nice and white for me. Maybe clear your browser cache?

This might happen if you use outdated browsers or ones that can't handle transparent colors (rgba)
If not then try clearing your cache.

Chrome started to open multiple tabs independently so I reinstalled it. The problem went away (along with the cookies I guess).

Re: New Website - Overlord - 11-20-2011

Not bad look at all, the background now give me a faint feeling of my money wasted on a 24" monitor wasn't totally wasted anyway.
And I like the low-res background, give the whole site a faster feeling (and faster DL on mobile networks).

Did ya read Cormorant's post?
Generally black and white ain't a good combination. By just slightly adjust black from 0 to e.g 0.1, and white from 1 to 0.8, will make a huge difference for those who struggle with the reading. It's nothing wrong with your eyes guys, just your monitor. And before you run of to buy a new one, it cost a LOT of money. You're better of (at least your wallet) by adjusting monitor settings.
Another option could be to add a hint of could to the white one (Ken knows how).

I won't be bothering too much, there are more important things, but I had no problems loading old version of the website which had higher resolution background pictures. My connection is 6Mbit download, that's pretty average I guess.

Re: New Website - TonyMarony - 11-20-2011

Misha, i guess this will only be interesting for the "mobile Guys". ;-)
Grip: Depends on your browser. You will find "how-to´s" via google pretty quick for any browser, but we can give you advice aswell, if you mention, what browser you are using ;-).
I think the actual settings with black background and bright text section is a perfect solution. At least i like it very much!

Re: New Website - Pulverizer - 11-21-2011

Great job overall :o One issue though, "read more" links are kind of redundant under the "home" page. I think it would be better to access sub-pages with just one click, similar to how the top-level navigation works. Like this for example:
http://pulverizer.pp.fi/temp/webpage.jpg

While the "home" screen could be like this: http://pulverizer.pp.fi/temp/webpage2.jpg

This has been bothering me too lately, sorry for not bringing this earlier, I slowly began to realize this can be better... having to click twice in order to get to the desired page is not that good in my opinion, and even worse, it feels like the website is non-responsive when you click on, let's say, the needed addons page and don't get to directly to it.
I am not sure as to what you mean on your screenshots Pulv. It looks like you suggest a change on the page layout. Why is that required? Isn't a redirection directly from the titles enough to improve it?
Edit: yeah, I can see your point now pulv. It does look better this way Smile

Re: New Website - kenwort - 11-21-2011

That would require code alteration and I don't have the free time anymore to spend for something I'm not getting paid for.
Another way would be to set the frontpage as static page without the slider and just link from page to page.
e.g. set the first page "about cia" then link from that page to "needed addons" and so on.
