BAS installing problems - Make - 08-25-2009 Hi, I have all other addons installed except BAS, i put it to the right folder with mod parameter and always when i launch it i get the following message: Cannot create 3D device: Adapter 0 (ATI radeon HD4870 X2) Fullscreen Resolution 1360x768, format X8R8G8B8/D24S8, refresh 60 Hz. Error D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE if i disable @BAS from parameter it works fine. EDIT: Works now. See below for solution. Re: BAS installing problems - Overlord - 08-25-2009 That's not really a a BAS problem, it's a GFX problem. Try reset your GFX settings (or lower them) and start with BAS. Then you can adjust your GFX settings again. Re: BAS installing problems - Make - 08-25-2009 I have tryed to change my GFX settings already and i still keep getting the same error, and just to clarify i have also tryed to change resolution. Normally i would use 1920 x 1200, but its in repair service so i have to use TV monitor. Havent had before these problems. Re: BAS installing problems - Zulu1 - 08-26-2009 Hey Make, A couple of things to try; Run FlashpointPreferrences.exe. Look in the Display box and make sure you see your video card shown and also that is is set for Direct3D HW T&L. It should look like this: Then go to your Windows start button and select "RUN". In the box type dxdiag and click "OK". Then allow the DirectX diagnostic program to run. This should fix your problem. Re: BAS installing problems - Make - 08-26-2009 Hi Zulu, I tryed that out. Seems like i still get the same error message, i will try to reinstall OFP today and see if it works, if not then i just have to wait until i get my old monitor back... i guess : Re: BAS installing problems - Overlord - 08-27-2009 Turn off HW T&L and use -nomap Re: BAS installing problems - Make - 08-27-2009 I actually solved my problem by installing BAS from different site (strange). Thanks for everyone who tryed to help |
