resistance disk read error - c0nfUsi0n - 06-03-2009
hey i just tried to install ofp resistance for the first time in a long time and i got a file read error. From my experience, those are pretty much impossible to come back from unless you find the file online or just buy another CD.
I was wondering if it was possible for someone to host the file online somewhere and send it to me. The file is stored on the CD in FlashpointResistance\Res\Dta\Data.PBO
The file is about 100MB in size. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could be able to do this for me
Also, I loaded the contents of the cd onto my desktop and tried running the installation from there. It gave me a file copy error saying the CRC does not match. All I need is for someone to upload their data.PBO file so that I can download it. Thanks!

The CRC error is due to copy protection, sure you have an original disk

it doesnt give me the CRC error when i use the cd, but when I try and install from the files on the desktop, it gives me that error

So you have copied the files to a folder and try to install from this? It will not work. Another way is to create a disk image and mount this in daemon tools or similar and install from this. This works for me.

ok well i tried creating an ISO and mounting it on daemon tools, and it gives me the CRC error
