Have anyone tried Windows 7 yet? The free beta you can download from M$?
Seems to be an improvement from XP Me (aka Vista) even if it's still beta. Want to try OFP on it but I'm lazy enough to admit I won't be stuffing CD's, just copy it from my other disk... (reg-key too)
So, here is the question: do anyone know where in the registry the key is on Vista?
I got XP64 and it's located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Codemasters\
Using the commanders channel creates another radio channel for team leaders. Listening to two channels often results in listening to two players talking at the same time.
I have a suggestion. When addressing a fellow leader on channel commander, don't start talking immediately. Calmly call his name first, if he doesn't respond, it means that he is busy talking or listening to his team members.
If you have a better suggestion please post it here, if not, please confirm.

Mission Objective: To delay the Soviet advance by cuttiung off their fuel supplies to the front line.
Team: Echo Zero
Date of Op: 16th March
Intel: Recon suggests a possible 15 tango's including patrols around Lovozero. The fuel depot tango count unknown, expect multiple combatants. Forest patrols unknown as area was hostile. Armour count, 3 AA shilka's, 1 BMD and 1 AA Gun.
Plan: For ariel recon in this area we must destroy the AA coverage in Lovozero. Once AA are destroyed, head due south, to the Fuel Depots. Destroy the fuels tanks, every fuel tank in those 2 depots. Finally for your extraction to be successful, destroy the roof top AA gun at the southern depot.
Ammo Supplies optional at safe house to the south.

Hi guys, Ive recently came back to OFP after a long break. installed FDF and thought Id give the CIA coop nights a try. Ive enjoyed it so far and love the coop teamwork making it a more realistic viewpoint. As a gamer Im experienced in CTI, used to be part of n00bs clan a while ago. Anyway just wanted to say hi and look forwrd to joining you. Ive bought a mic and installed ts2 just for the coop nights lol.. Im also a mission maker, single player mainly, im not great but not bad either
Who do i sent missions to? Here is a mission brief, ive already converted to FDF for MP, but dont know where to send it to?

Hey guys, got a question. I'm trying to find some high quality faces for OFP. I used to have a nice pack that contained a bunch of nice, high quality faces. One of them is the one being used by Variable as his avatar. Does anyone know where I can get these?
Hey guys, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I've been playing OFP and ArmA since their releases. I haven't played OFP for quite some time. I'm getting everything downloaded and installed as I type this and I look forward to playing with you guys soon.
The following is a tutorial taken from Teamspeak's website (http://www.goteamspeak.com/?page=tutorial_a). The Italicized words are my additions, specific to our TS server. Feel free to ask any question that arrises.
Tutorial:
Open the menu "Connection" and press "Connect".
Your local addressbook is still empty but we are going to add a server here (our Teamspeak server..). Press your right mouse button in the white left section and click on "Add server". You can name the server anything you like (name it CiA). After that, the "Label" shows your previous chosen name.
Now fill in the server address in the specified field (insert- ts.ciahome.net), this may either be an IP address or a FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name). The port of the server usually doesn't need to be filled in (no need indeed). However if the server host is running multiple servers you can specify the port where it needs to connect to behind the server address (i.e. voice.teamspeak.org:8767).
After that you can choose a nick in "Nickname"(Use your ingame nickname). You are obligated to fill one in unless you checked the "Allow server to assign nickname" box in which case you will get a name like "Guest1".
If the server is password protected you need to fill the appropriate one in at the "Password" field (insert the password which is ciafdf). If you are bugged by time-outs (unwanted disconnects from the server) check the "Auto-reconnect" box (check it, it's a good feature).
If you have registered with the server before you can optionally fill in your username and password. Do not fill in anything if you haven't registered with the server before! Remember to check "Registered" and fill in some nickname!
You may even fill in your favorite channel or sub-channel you wish to connect to.
After that hit the "Connect" button at the bottom. If all went well you are now connected to the server. You should see your name with a green light next to it. (If you didn't manage to connect, change the address to- 85.252.203.43)
See you on the server!

(I will add today an explanation of how to set a different key to team leaders channel using the channel commander option.)
Start the program, at first run OFPWatch will scan your ofpdir for addon folders and add them to a list. This might take some time if you have lots of addons so be patient.
Now you need to add our server:
Click [Add] upper left in program (server selection)
Select Network Server and put 85.252.203.43:2302 as Address
Next, check the list of Availabel mods and mark finmod and add it by a click on []
Do the same thing with the the rest of our addons (BAS/CiA or whatever depending on your install)
Be sure to set finmod on top of the Mods to load list to avoid conflicts and hit [OK]
Now you are ready to use OFPWatch
In upper right side you see who's on the server, what mission playing, status and so on
On bottom right side you have 3 choices under Actions, check the first one
Use the two others as you like but be aware of the fact that if you use Launch OFP when this game ends OFPWatch will start a new instance of OFP with the correct mods loaded and connect to our server. The same thing happens if you press [Play now].
Depending on your computer it might get stuck if you try to run several instances of OFP at once.

Since we, occasionally, run WGL from the same server I suggest you set up a new entry dedicated to WGL in OFPW.
Follow same procedure as above, but load [b]@wgl5 and @ciawgl instead of finmod and @cia/ bas
