Don't know if anyone here is a fan of Sins of Solar Empires or Supreme Commander. I mainly heard of AI Wars (the first one) from SupCom FA and I wanted an RTS or strategy game of purely against an AI so I came across AI Wars. I only have played about 3 games. One solo (but gave up since the AI have overpowered me at that point), and 2 coop and won. It was quite complex, slow pace, and takes quite a long time to play a round (save and come back later as people would do in civilization I guess), but I haven't played it for a while since it took me a while to play.
It seems like the 2nd one will try to have easier to use controls, will be 3D, and stuff. I was a fan of the first one and I thought it was a great comp stomp strategy game (combine a bit of 4X Strategy, RTS, and tower defense). Its a niche title and kind of hard to get into though.
