Dear mission makers! Please follow the following guidelines when posting a mission on the Mission Release board. The guidelines include naming and posting standards. Thanks!

CiA File Naming Standards
  • Once your mission is ready, within the editor, go to "Presentation" under Attributes->General-> Presentation and make sure the "Title" field is empty.
  • Then Export -> Export to Mulitplayer". Then, from Eden select "Open Scenario Folder", go one level up, then go into mpmissions folder. You should find the mission file there.
  • Outside of the game, rename the mission file as follows:
  • All letters in lowercase (don't forget the island name!)
  • Remove all spaces and replace them with underscores
  • Do not use any special characters &/()%# etc.
  • Avoid excessive use of abbreviations
  • And follow the format as described below
CiA File Naming Format
For vanilla missions:
  • co04_mission_name.island.pbo
  • co16_operation_dragon_rising.altis.pbo
  • co08_wraith_recon.stratis.pbo
For missions with addons:
  • co@08_bear_crawl.chernarus.pbo

How to Submit my Missions?
  • Create a new topic on the Mission Release board
  • Within the opening post, include a one line description of your mission (you may add a longer description afterwards, but the one liner is required for the Google spread sheet)
  • Attach the mission pbo (note the naming instructions) to the post by clicking "Attachments and other options" and "Attach". Instead, you can post a link to the file on a file hosting service like Dropbox. Please use well known and reliable hosting services.
  • Post the topic.
  • Let us know in the mission release channel on Discord you published a new mission!
How to Update my Missions After I Submitted Them?
  • Modify the opening post of your mission thread, remove the old pbo and replace it by the new file
  • Post a reply in your thread and include in it the changelog of the update. You may also include the changelog on the opening post.
  • Do not post files to any post other than the opening post! This ensures that your mission thread has only the latest version of your mission.
Thank you!
OP modified to include instructions on how to submit missions and how to update them after they had been submitted. Mission makers, please kindly follow these instructions. This will ensure your missions are updated promptly and correctly.
