Comrades in Arms Discussion Board

I haven't tried this yet, but I was wondering what'd you guys think of this addon. It's made by Arkhir (the person who made Body Snatch mission). It is client sided. Basically when you zoom in it changes your objectViewDistance as high as your viewDistance while you zoom in so you can spot objects at long range (useful for sniping and tank combat). The objectViewDistance will revert back once you zoom back out.

Isnt the VD (and oVD) locked by the mission in MP?

Don't know, but if that's the case, I'm not sure if this addon would work. Arkhir told me it would, but I haven't asked if it was tested on dedicated servers and missions or anything.

No, you can set it locally for yourself to whatever you want, that's how those addons like TAW View Distance work.

I've tested the mod, i get a little "stuttering" when zooming.
