For the person who values immersion. This mod makes wearing different glasses more meaningful. Adds different color tint depending on what you are wearing, yellow blue etc. If you fire when prone or get caught in nearby explosions dust and dirt kicks up on them and you can wipe them of "Metro style". Rain drops run down on them when it's raining (very subtle and non distracting effect). They can even crack and break if you get blown up. Only issue I found is that they stay constantly dusty in choppers but I simply take them of when flying. Been playing with this mod for a while and I quite like it

Sounds good. Does it add any dust penalty when NOT wearing glasses?
The mod is cool, but the problem I see is that you get dust on your glasses when you wear them, but the actual use of combat goggles is to protect your eyes... with the goggles off, you don't get any of that, it seems, so wearing glasses has only disadvantages...

Unfortunately not. I don't think so anyway. I really wish that was the case. But I really enjoy my yellow tinted tactical shades on a bright day. Don't know if it helps me spot targets any better, but I would like to think so  :Smile

Yeah I know but the disadvantage to me is negligible so I don't mind it
Does this mod causes some whitish effect when shooting?
Not that I have noticed. I'll keep it in mind for tonight
Works great, the glasses crack when you take explosion damage but taking them off and putting them back on will restore its condition :o  Another feature is that even without the glasses on, when you are injured the screen greys until you get healed. This wasnt mentioned but it's still inside the mod. It would be nice if the combat goggles were immune to getting cracked
I've used them for a while it just adds another degree of realism, Its clientside so personal choice. It will help a little with glare  8)
